Ask anyone who’s played the popular computer-sports game, Fantasy Football, and they’ll tell you: the most important day of the season is draft day and draft day goes by rrreeeaallll fast. It can be stressful, as a result, and there are many questions to ponder while you’re sitting at your laptop trying to build your team. Like, do you pick the best player, or the player to fit the open need on your roster or do you pick your favorite player because, well, he’s your favorite? Help!
But don’t worry! Here at Tarukino we have some quick and easy tips to help you win your Fantasy Football draft while still maintaining your confidence, poise, and mental health. Cheers!
Stock up on snacks: A satiated mind is a sharp mind. So, get your favorite comfort food munchies around you to nibble on while you’re scrolling through the available players to draft. You don’t want your stomach grumbling when you have to pick between Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, do you?

Draft strategy: Okay, time to get down to the nitty-gritty. Everything starts with your first pick. Unless you think someone will have a truly amazing year, don’t go quarterback to start. Pick a great skill position, like a wide receiver or running back and watch how things play out.
Running back depth: It’s often good to get one running back high in the draft and then wait to pick a few in the later rounds and hope one or two hits it big.
Get at least one elite role: When draft day is over, make sure you have a top-1 or 2 player in at least one or two positions. This will ensure you win at least those head-to-head battles each week during the season.
Don’t make trades: Trades never work unless you’re making a deal with a rookie team owner who doesn’t know better. Just avoid them. But monitor the free agent waiver wire like a hawk!
Have fun: Remember, it’s just a game!
